Terence and Christian

Terence and Christian from France joined a short term ESC voluntarism program in Ioannina, at our organisation, Youth Center of Epirus. The project was coordinated and supported by the organisation Pistes Solidaires, based in France.

Their main activities were to help to run the youth center, offer daily activities to young adults (18 - 30 years old), plan and manage small scale events (discussion topics, workshops etc) and work on online content creation especially related to the people and culture of the city and region of Epirus. "During my experience in Ioannina I have been able to develop my skills. You are probably wondering what I have been able to develop during my experience in this month of travel in Greece. Well, I was able to develop my adaptability to a new culture and a new country and I was able to meet new people who were very friendly during my stay. I was also able to apply the knowledge I gained during my schooling in the field of my experience, such as planning an event and also promotion of it."

"This experience brought me a lot personally, living in a flat in another country far from everything I know, I had to adapt and become really autonomous, that motivates me for my return back to France."
