This youth exchange was the second part of the "Digital Climate Youth Action" project - the first part took place in Ioannina in February 2025. In this second part, young people from the same countries met in Ankara to discover ways how youth can be engaged in environmental protection, keeping digitalization in mind. One of the Greek participants says after the youth exchange that happened in April 2025:
"Our participation in an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project on climate change was an experience I will never forget. Together with young people from different European countries, we found ourselves in a common space to exchange ideas, experiences, and reflections on the environment and the effects of the climate crisis. Through hands-on workshops, creative activities and open discussions, we realised how different - but also how similar - we all experience the consequences of climate change in our countries. We had the opportunity to learn about good sustainability practices, participate in ecological actions, and work in groups to develop proposals to raise environmental awareness in local communities. What struck me most was the sense of shared responsibility and the power of cooperation across borders. We were not just participants - we became a community with a shared vision for a greener and more sustainable world. Coming back home, we felt the need to keep talking about what we learned as well as to take action. This experience has shown us that change can start with each of us, as long as we believe in it and back it up with action."
